About RVA
Resonant Voices Africa (RVA) is a newly incorporated Ugandan non-profit, registered on 3 March 2026. We exist to make marginalized voices impossible to ignore — and to build the capacity for communities to advocate powerfully for themselves.
We take a comprehensive, integrated approach to development, addressing poverty, violence, educational exclusion, health challenges, and political marginalization simultaneously — because these challenges are deeply interconnected.
Communities are not our "beneficiaries." They are our partners, experts, and the leaders of our work. Everything we do flows from the Ubuntu principle: "I am because we are."

What We Do
We work with communities to build resilience across five interconnected dimensions of wellbeing. No single issue exists in isolation — our integrated approach ensures lasting transformation.
Building economic resilience through skills development, access to finance, market linkages, and dignified livelihood opportunities for vulnerable households.
Preventing and responding to GBV and community violence through mobilization, survivor support, and transforming harmful cultural norms.
Removing barriers to quality education, improving school environments, and ensuring every child can complete their learning journey.
Improving access to health services, delivering community health education, and providing psychosocial support to those who need it most.
Amplifying voices through civic education, community organizing, political engagement, and building platforms for meaningful participation in governance.
What We Stand For
Vulnerable persons are experts in their own lives and active agents of change — not passive beneficiaries needing rescue.
We practice and demand transparency, responsiveness, and measurable results from ourselves, our partners, and duty bearers.
We deliberately center those most marginalized: women, children, persons with disabilities, economically excluded men, and minorities.
Poverty, violence, exclusion, and powerlessness are interconnected. Our "cobweb" approach creates dense networks of mutual support.
We ground our work in rigorous evidence, embrace learning from both successes and failures, and share knowledge openly.
Our goal is not dependency on us, but strong communities and responsive governments ensuring transformation continues after we leave.
We challenge systemic inequalities in power, resources, and opportunities — neutrality in the face of injustice is not an option.

2026 – 2031
Launch and refine comprehensive community transformation in Entebbe Municipality, demonstrating measurable impact across all intervention areas. Target: 8,500+ vulnerable persons directly reached with documented evidence of what works, how, and why.
Support communities to elect and hold accountable political leaders who genuinely reflect and serve the priorities of vulnerable populations — through monitoring systems, budget advocacy, and civic mobilization.
Build functional, sustainable coordination among government, civil society, private sector, and communities. Establish "cobweb" accountability networks linking all actors to prevent duplication and maximize complementarity.
Document comprehensive evidence that informs policy, practice, and scaling — including rigorous evaluation, policy publications, and recognition as an evidence-based innovator at district and national levels.
Expand proven models to additional communities while maintaining quality and community ownership — through geographic expansion, government adoption, and a pan-African learning network.
